About Us

Education Beyond the Score is dedicated to reaching the needs of unique learners and supporting families along the way. We offer individualized evidenced-based instruction to grow struggling students in reading, math, and executive functioning.

Whether your child has already been identified with a learning disability, is in the evaluation process, or simply needs a little additional tutoring, EBS utilizes a variety of measures to dig deeper and determine the underlying cause of each student's academic difficulties. This knowledge is used to develop individualized lessons and strategies that build on the learner's strengths.

Our mission is to foster a safe and fun learning experience so that students excel academically and develop essential skills for the future.  Additionally, we strive to empower and educate parents. Our education consults provide parents with the knowledge needed to advocate for their child and provide a positive learning experience in the home.

Ashleigh Moffett, M.Ed

Educational Diagnostician

Prior to starting Education Beyond the Score, Ashleigh taught special education in various settings. She began her career as an RBT in an Applied Behavior Analysis clinic. After transitioning to public education, she spent five years as an elementary resource and inclusion teacher. In this role, she taught students with various disabilities reading, writing, math, and social skills. Ashleigh also taught Early Childhood Special Education for four years. While teaching ECSE, she found her passion for supporting families through the transition into special education. To better support families and students, Ashleigh obtained her master's in Special Education and Educational Diagnostician certification. As an Educational Diagnostician, she is able to support families in understanding their child’s disability, assist parents in navigating the world of special education,  and help grow students academically by discovering the root cause of their academic difficulties.
